Ocean Breeze Shawl

This smaller sized shawl is the perfect size to tuck into you bags for a vacation by the sea.  Just imagine listening to the waves crashing while watching the sunrise and wrapped in this beautiful shawl.  Ahhh, I can almost taste the sea air!

Easy.
Finished size (before fringe):  50"x20"

Materials:
Yarn A: Red Heart Super Saver Turqua
Yarn B: Red Heart Super Saver Real Teal
Yarn C: I Love This Yarn Agean stripe

Hook: K10

With A, chain 156 (to increase length of shawl, add chains in multiples of 8, plus 4.  For this chain I multiplied 8x19=152,  152+4=156).

Row 1: 1 dc in 4th chain from hook, *1 dc in each of next 2 ch, 2 dctog over next and following alt chain, 1 dc in each of next 2, (1dc, 1ch, 1dc) in next chain* repeat from * to *, ending 2 dc in last chain.

Row 2: 3ch, 1dc in first dc, *1dc in each of next 2 ch, 2dctog over next and following alt chain(skipping top of previous 2dctog), 1dc in each of next 2dc,  (1dc, 1ch, 1dc) in next chain* repeat from * to *, ending 2 dc in 3-ch space at end of row, changing to color C to complete last st.

Repeat Row 2 for a total of 28 rows in this color pattern:
